Alpkit dozer?

I have a Dozer and after 10 years of light use mines died as well.  But they're comfy and cheap so I'll probably buy more of them. Can't think of anything else thats as comfy and cheap.

Yep we've a few dozers. Very comfy. However they are also an arse to pack away and don't like being packed deflated, so more faffing time.

Might be better served by a smaller air pad with a decent  R value (e.g. big Agnes etc) - but depends on your use case/preference really 

have a double dozer which i've been happy with over the past few years. also have two single one and one of those has failed at the seam. comfy IMV

The quality of my Alpkit kit over the years has had multiple failures, especially sewn seams. And my Numo mat developed tiny holes all over it, shame as it was a nice and light & compact mat for summer use. 

I really rate our dozers. I bought them when my back was bad. They are bed level comfortable. This summer i spent £200 exped 5r long and wide for bike packing. It’s comfortable but not as comfy as the dozer. Some how the foam adds a bit of support and damping which help

Had 2 Dozers for about 9-10 years.

One used a fair bit, both still going strong and really comfy for a camping mat.

I got a Sea to Summit mat from Go Outdoors for £65, most comfy thing I've slept on and packs down very easily.

We've had Exped megamat 7.5's for some years now.  They are superbly comfortable and completely got us back into camping. I know they do a 10cm thick version but can't see why you'd need any more than the 7.5 as it's never felt to thin.  

Looks like the megamat is now 10cm and nearly £300.  Theres a7.5 version that looks like the old megamat for less than 200. The one way valves make inflation and deflation really simple and they come with a pump to top up.

more than twice the price of a Dozer but I don't regret buying ours.

My only experience is with lighter weight trekking mats. Thermarest makes great ones. We bought two in c.2007. They're still as good as the day we got them and they endured a 5 month stint of nightly use at one point.

We bought two expeds a few years back - they are slippery, so if there's any kind of slope you don't stay put. And one of them has split in storage (despite following instructions).

Found a great price on the sea to summit deluxe in the end. So hopefully even more comfortable than the dozer for not much more money. 

We've had Thermarests for over thirty years now and they've replaced them no quibble on the rare occasion they have failed, so went Trest again with the latest.

Mondoking XL or something. Fabulously comfortable, though also insanely big and equally expensive.  But seems more sensible than having to buy a new one every ten years like some A'kit buyers above.
