Recently purchased a 2nd hand graphics card, it was supposed to be a radeon HD 2600 512mb, after fitting it, it appears to be a 3450 or something with just 256mb ram. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR , it works and shifts games ok but on only max settings with overclocking, but then it hits 90c, not good! So its not staying!
Anyhow can anyone let me know what cards I should be looking at 2nd hand so prob 1-2 years old. Im after a 512 or a 1gb card, max £30 2nd hand so prob off ebay! any advice on what’s good, and so basically £30 which 512 or 1gb card off ebay, ATi or geforce?? Im confused as ATI and Nvidia’s numbering means nothing to me. cheers
I've got a spare EVGA 8800GTS ACS3 KO 640Mb (part no. 640-P2-E827-AR) graphics card you could have for £30 posted. 😉 Have a look at the specs online and post back here if you want it.
