Off to the Afan Forest this weekend with a group of lads. We are biking on friday and saturday but have a few non bikers in the group so are looking to do something else sunday (yawn).

Any ideas on what else there is to do around that area?

Stealing cars, robbing pensioners, setting fire to the forestry, riding dodgy 'motocross' bikes everywhere, graffiti...... all common activities around Afan.

Give us a clue what they enjoy and how far you want to travel from Afan.

walking? loads of waymarked walks up there- the coast path between ogmore by sea and llantwit is lovely as is the gower coast. surfing on the gower/rest bay porthcawl, rugby at swansea/llanelli/ cardiff. take your pick really.

Surfing? Sorry to be negative but what is the weather going to be like this weekend? The forecast is for 7ft surf, a period of 7 seconds and 28mph winds for Llangennith. Better book the coastguard now. Similarly, Gower is lovely for walking, the wind and rain may make it less lovely. Frogleek, don't know what weather you want to hold, but it's been pouring and very cold here in Swansea for the last 2 days.

lol, can't paddle out with that period, mun. I'll just be stuck in the white water.

(Oh, and anything over 3ft scares the dibs out of me.)
