As above really. Making this for Saturday night dinner but not sure what to serve with it. Any suggestions from the STW gastronomes? Ta loves.

Thin strips of corguette & carrot fried in butter until they are soft and sweet.

I'd do a nice potato and celeriac mash plus some 'seasonal' veg.

Mashed potato with a hint of horse raddish or go posh and make croquette potatoes with the same
Caramelised baby onions
Pan fried pancetta and sprouts
Carrots etc as above
Good red wine

Dauphinoise or some new potatoes finished off roasted in the oven with rosemary and rock salt in olive oil.

Mushrooms in butter with a dab of cream in.

Not too much potato as you should have a fair bit of pastry with it already.
