This is a sad example of why the modern mantra of men need call out their friends behaviour is flawed with these sorts who thrive on the fringes.
I very much doubt he surrounds himself with people who think that differently to him, and if they did I'd very much doubt they'd associate with him any more. Surrounded by like-minded enablers most likely.
