I've always gone A38 (A390) towards Helston as I'd rather be moving than stuck in traffic - but a friend has told me today that the A30 is a lot lot better than it used to be.
Is he telling me lies!? 😀

As I tried to say earlier,
A30 is now mostly dual lane so, unless you are travelling on Friday before the bank holiday should move quite well.
Where are you driving from?

I always use the A30. Even head 10 mins back up the A38 to do it.
