I really like this site for lots of reasons but the chummy community on the forums is a big one
Its not like most huge websites, there really is a bit of a friendship thing going on here - ahhhhhhhh

So it is a bit nasty when you spend a bit of time browsing the classifieds for a change of frame and realise that one person seems to have at least 4, probably 5, and maybe more different ID's on here

Not bad for a forum thats 3 weeks old

You dont even need to be a rocket scientist to work it out
Hes just too stupid or arrogant to switch his log in sometimes and posts under one ID giving the name of another which is how I came to realise - hes interested in the same stuff as I am

ITS JUST NOT NICE AND ITS JUST NOT YOU DO TO MATES

Thanks for the rant

I'll start off the marks with a 2/10

I have several IDs. I post under the name 'Nicola' when I want advice on bike maintenance. It's amazing how much more helpful people are when they think they're dealing with a chick that digs bikes.

Really, Snigle? I was so envious of Nicola's superior mechanical aspirations, skills and independence of bike fettling that it gave me an inferiority complex. I may have to sue you for distress!

Really, Snigle?

Oh yes jojo. And I have a few IDs prefixed with 'Singlespeed' when I want to appear 'special'.

2/10 is generous, barely a 1 TBH.

Has this person done something to you?

What valid reason is there for having 3/4 different usernames?

So if I ask 'Nicola' for advice on what chamois is best for my delicate ladyparts, I won't get a proper answer?

Oh and do you have any 'fixie' pre/suffixes for when you want to appear uber cool?

You'll struggle to log back in, as it was spelled "Nichola", if you're referring to the same thread as me 🙂

You'd be amazed at my depth of knowledge in that field.
