6 Music's 24 hour rave, it is just fantastic today.

I'll second that, I've begrudged the few times I've had to leave my desk today.

I think it's been pretty patchy.

Energy Flash is a bit more like it though

Have had to miss most of it.   Any all-day listeners feel like recommending a favourite set/ slot of the day to catch up on iplayer?

It has been fantastic. I had to skip through the R&M session they had with Marshall Jefferson as it hurt my ears.

"Marshall Jefferson mix was good, interview was too".

And this is what I love about dance music, so many genres to choose from!

Totally agree that it has hardly been a rave. But then BBC radio have never quite got it right with dance music. From being very very late to the party to continually using the word "dropped" of "lifted" and calling this a "rave".

But some cracking tunes nonetheless and so many to choose from. Was very pleased when they played this earlier.

Happily suffering the irritating DJ’s (the reason why I don’t listen to 6) for these awesome tunes

Energy Flash! Just a mind-blowing tune, that bassline wobble ...

Ever read this? So good.

Loving it so far, don't want to leave my desk. Apart from the tedious talky bits, of course.

Also looking forward to Trojan day on Monday!

Really enjoyed it. Graeme Park at 6am’ish was the highlight for me.

There’s classic essential mixes available on the app for streaming / download too - Soulwax, Massive Attack, Daft Punk, High Contrast & Flying Lotus 👍🏼

I really enjoyed what I got to hear of it.

Always takes you back to those heady days at Lydd Airfield in Kent.

Stuart Maconie summed it up by calling a genre of rave as vile. Each to their own.

… good to see Venus getting a reference on Singletrack … actually, that's messing with my head … is it really the same Venus though ... I don't know. And I never even went to Venus come to think of it.
