[Closed] 500gb Monthly data allowance...?

Can you ask your current provider what your usage is?

I have an iPhone with an unlimited data contract. I use it a lot.

O2 say I average about 300 a month and have never been over 500.

Got a 750Mb monthly limit. Average usage is about 300-400Mb I reckon and I am a reasonably heavy user (surfing, pushed email, etc.) but switch to Wifi at home and work so that helps a lot.

According to my orange bill I've used 671mb this month so far and still have around 7 days left till next bill date! Got unlimited though so not really a problem! Watch Sky go quite a bit!

500Gb? Are you controlling the entire world from your phone?
You probably don't have enough time in 4 weeks to download that much.

500GB is a fair chunk. I get 500MB and have never exceeded that mostly browsing the odd bit of streamed media... and stw of coirse

If I was getting 500Gb/month I'd be bloody ecstatic. I think what you really mean is 500[b]Mb[/b]/month, which is pretty easy to burn up if you're doing a lot of streaming stuff like video or radio. I used to listen to BBC 6Music on my iPhone until O2 did away with unlimited data, and I discovered that three hours of Lauren Lavern used 100Mb, so my entire monthly allowance went in five days. Or less, if I listened to a couple of programs a day. I've gone to a lower cost plan and upped my data to 1Gb/month, to give myself more leeway when I haven't got wifi available.

I reckon 500mb would get used up [b]extremely[/b] quickly.

Wifi broke in the pub whilst some of us were watching the DH world champs. Used 2GB of 3G in 2 hours...

I get 1gb a month only used it up once when I streamed a stage of the tdf over 3G for 3 hours. If I had 500mb it would be close every month, and I try to use wifi whenever possible.

It's easy if you stream music or video but just general surfing, emails and social networks then I find it's easily enough.

I'm a moderate user and was using under 500Mb last time I checked. I went from an unlimited package to 500Mb, and I reckon the bulk of that was application updates (which I now do over wifi instead).

Oddly I recently upgraded my Phone and changed my tariff. I dont use my phone much on 3G, mostly WiFi, so downgraded my allowance to 100Mb a month.
When I check my usage on their website, it says I have 3.99Gb remaining this month..... 😯
