Probably unusual but I still love all of the John Hughes 80’s comedies told from a teenagers perspective.  Reminds me of my childhood. Even though I am 5o this year, I still find myself rooting for the teenagers - rather than the parents or teachers.

Some bits haven’t aged well - more to do with social norms than anything else.  Our teenagers, seem to have the same self-consciousness, worries as we did - not a lot has changed.
