Just came across the 3d image maps on the ipad. How on earth do they do that? Both awesome and really scary at the same time
I'm off to stalk my neighbourhood a little more and wonder just how much processing goes into that. I mean 3d trees ffs

It's interpolated from multiple photographs from different angles - yes, it is clever.
Makes you wonder what kind of processing is needed to run RealWorld 1.0.

Yep clever indeed. I remember seeing a few videos what only feels a year ago now using that tech but it seemed like it took incredible processing. Now its just here.
