Hi
rejigging gf back wall (sink, bath, washing machine outputs)

anyway want to lengthen several plastic pipes - by about 10cm , all f which which is glue fittings.

There doesn't seem any easy way to undo glue (what sounds like best suggestion is to reinforce outer with a clamp etc then use a scalpel etc to split the join - not guaranteed).

Any other suggestions.

? Inserts - these seem to be for reinforcing - could I glue one of these in to act as an inside join ??

Cheers

cut out the joints/pipe you need to and redo with compression fittings.

costs nothing and wont be such a pain in the arse as trying to bugger around with existing joints.

Glued fittings are much better than compression type - but cannot be undone. If you want to lengthen a run then cut it and use a length of pipe and two straight fittings.
