It looks like the sets are video plus one thing rolled on and off

oh, and the floor then lights up the position of the next stuff to put on.  It's super useful

Not quite, from my apartment I could hear it…and have all week. I’m now less than a mile away from the arena. we’ve been in the Eurovision village earlier; atmosphere has been amazing.

This. There was a BBC thing about it. We were watching the semi in awe of it. The outgoing singer is whisked away, floor sweepers come in (with different brooms depending on what had just happened on stage). MR2 is on dollies, stage lights up to get the location of the next thing and the car goes off and new thing on all at a run.

Also v impressive is the choreography between the camera dudes and the acts.

It's all very very good. And slick. And fast!

Belgium for me so far, second is Finland for bonkers-ness.
Australia were grim, but having been there for for 3 weeks and having had the virtues of Cold Chisel expounded by my S-I-L, they are probably as good as it gets

It's Moldova. They make Finland look shy and retiring.

Girls making devil horns out of their hair and an oompa loompa on the nose flute, they were quite restrained this year.
