My Trusty Landrover Discovery has just clocked 200,000 miles, and continues to clock up 500 - 800 miles a week!
I was wondering how many others from STW are members of the 200k + Club!!!
My Trusty Landrover Discovery
the problem is that when you start off a sentence like that nobody will believe a word that follows. 😆
I assumed it was a typo, what with 't' and 'r' being next to each other : )
I've got a VW lt35 van/camper thing with 207k on the clock.
Mine's done 200k k 😉
i'm aiming for it. 147k on my mk3 golf and I dont want to buy another car until its past 200k.
My Integra is a baby at 135K but seems more than most Type Rs manage before being crashed
Welcome to the club oldgit - my mk1 is just shy of 206,000
VW T3 Syncro - been twice round and still doing 500+ miles per month
My 1961 BSA A10. Dunno for sure as its a bitsa but from the speedo - ( which don't work all the time and has been reset once) 150 000 in the time I have owned it and it was 25 yrs old when I got it.
Ive just part ex'd an old Fiat Punto GT that had 204000 on the clock - I must have got the good one... 😀
I sold my Amazon at 298K, I'd done about 1000 of those and spent the sme on welding!
Slightly related, but i got in a taxi t'other night (old Mercedes thing), and it had over 1.5 million miles on the clock.
May be a little like triggers broom (probably 4 new engines and 5 new bodyshells etc) but i was still impressed.
Only 101,000 on my Saab, but I reckon it'll make the 200K. I don't think I'll own it for the 10 years it'll take to get there though.
My Golf is just shy of 100k, but I intend to see 200k in with her.
Mr's Boneidle's Audi A3 1.6 165K Still on original exhaust and clutch. Drives a good as new too.
I had a Citroen BX19 that had done 270,000 miles. Used a specialist in Worcester to keep her going. Great car, sold her to a mate went travelling for a year came back and she was still going at 320,000 but he was hard on her and left her in a corner of a field in Usk, still there now.
Had a 406 Estate that went over the 200,000 mark on the way back from Coed Y Brenin, that was pretty cool.
I had a cavalier that had done 210k when I sold it, only problem it had was a bit of rust on a rear panel. Still pulled like a train.
