My Trusty Landrover Discovery has just clocked 200,000 miles, and continues to clock up 500 - 800 miles a week!

I was wondering how many others from STW are members of the 200k + Club!!!

My Trusty Landrover Discovery

the problem is that when you start off a sentence like that nobody will believe a word that follows. 😆

I assumed it was a typo, what with 't' and 'r' being next to each other : )

Slightly related, but i got in a taxi t'other night (old Mercedes thing), and it had over 1.5 million miles on the clock.
May be a little like triggers broom (probably 4 new engines and 5 new bodyshells etc) but i was still impressed.

Only 101,000 on my Saab, but I reckon it'll make the 200K. I don't think I'll own it for the 10 years it'll take to get there though.

I had a Citroen BX19 that had done 270,000 miles. Used a specialist in Worcester to keep her going. Great car, sold her to a mate went travelling for a year came back and she was still going at 320,000 but he was hard on her and left her in a corner of a field in Usk, still there now.

Had a 406 Estate that went over the 200,000 mark on the way back from Coed Y Brenin, that was pretty cool.

I had a cavalier that had done 210k when I sold it, only problem it had was a bit of rust on a rear panel. Still pulled like a train.
