Probably sent by Ferrari, as a reminder of what will happen if they don't win next year's F1 Driver's Championship

It's nice to see Bernie on the end of a mugging as he's been mugging people for years.

PC Brigade are out in force today eh!! ffs. It was an off the cuff remark and meant sarcastically, If that was so hard for people to get then that's unfortunate.

Sheesh some people on here have nothing better to do sometimes.

Ironically it works in his favour.

When Button and soem Red Bull geezers where on the receiving end of some nasty crims in Brazil, Bernie said it was overblown and London was just as dangerous.

I bet he's at home sat on a big pile of money marvelling at how right he always is.

would we be on here if we did have something better to do?

most people put a 😉 on remarks that aren't meant to be taken seriously (or that they think might offend people and want the opportunity to subsequently say 'it was a joke, mkay').

wwwasas - fair enough, but it just tickles me how people rant and rave from their high horses at times at the slightest thing.

I could never be that casual about that much cash, tbh, I'd have a breifcase chained to my wrist.

Could you imagine explaining that to the police, I mean seriously how the hell could you leave 80g on the roof of your car and forget about it.
Mind you I did leave a banana on mine once, not quite the same I know.

I reckon the tugging is a cover story and the real story is some fans decided to let him know how dull f1 is now.

"You have to remember we have a lot of problems in England, Oxford Street and places, and in New York people get mugged," he [Ecclestone] said.

"They look for victims, they look for people who are a little bit slow and simple, but the people who look a bit bright, they never go after them."

Bernie speaking after Jenson button was attacked in Brazil. Oh, teh irony, teh irony...!
