a mild -5 here in East Kilbride. The kids are lovong it, although not much riding happening as everything is now frozen slush and waay to slippery for me 🙁

It WAS warm in Perth today. "Catastrophic" weather warning... 40c heat. 54 in direct sun. Same tomorrow.

Minus temps? Well, the sea was cool... 😉

-12 on the way down to Glentress this morning at Leadburn. Only -8 when we got there though. Tropical.

I set off this morning from my house but had to turn around my hands were hurting that badly even with monster ski gloves so no riding for me while this lasts - brrrr.

im only here for a year anyway. never wanted or planned to stay. kind of a "working holiday"

there's TONNES of brits here so obviously a fair few do manage to get on with the constant warmth. I like the cheap fuel, the sea, the river, the islands, the camping, the dusty pea-gravel tracks that make everything orange and the myriad of micro breweries and wineries.

I do miss mud, and I'm missing the snow. The seasons do change here. We have hot and not-quite-so-hot.

I'm back next Oct, just in time for NEXT winter.
