I'm trying to find something I can use to convert the above. I found a workaround using "The Hug" by cropping the 10 figures down to 8 but for some reason the GPX co-ords it creates don't show up on my Garmin.
I've got about a hundred of these to convert so it's got to be reasonably quick.
Thanks in advance, D.
You could do this using GPSBabel.
Probably easiest if you started with grid references in a suitable CSV format. https://www.gpsbabel.org/htmldoc-1.5.3/fmt_unicsv.html

If you've got gps chords and not being accepted by Garmin are they in right format e.g. N/S +/- or deg, min, sec.dec or deg.dec etc?
Double post
For a waypoint I get: text <gpx> more text <time>2017-01-05T06:00:00Z</time></metadata><wpt lat="12.345678" lon="-1.234567"><ele>-12.345678</ele><time>2017-01-05T05:56:09Z</time><name>007</name><sym>Flag, Blue</sym></wpt></gpx>
and track: text <gpx> more text <trk><name>course</name><trkseg><trkpt lat="54.320100" lon="-2.491550"<ele>139.78</ele<time>2017-01-05T05:54:39Z</time</trkpt></trkseg></trk></gpx>
If that helps!
Thank you all. I'll have a look 😀
