Moving house and we don't have a TV, I don't need one, but the missus does.

I can't really afford to fork out 300 quid off the bat with all the other expenses mounting.

Anybody seen any deals? If it involves paying interest she can do without for a month or two.

I can't really afford

I don't need one

Think you've answered your question there.

Get a free local paper and go to the classifieds, you will pick up a decent TV for £40.

Correction, I cannot bring myself to pay 300 quid for a tv outright, a bike part, just about, a TV, no.

Just offering a sensible solution instead of getting yourself into more debt.

With everyone spending £100's on LCD and Plasma TVs there are 100's of nice 28" and 32" CRT TVs available second hand.

I've actually got one, but for the life of me I can't remember who I gave it to take care of., but it was 10 years ago.

There are a few rear projection ones up for around a 100quid and under which would do the job.

Or this deal here - http://newcastle.gumtree.com/newcastle/84/64561584.html

From a well known part of Newcastle. I might give Jerry a call later once I know the withdrawls have started and he is desperate for the money.

Currys do a 10 month finance with a very low interest rate.
