Lovely writing, I'd forgotten all about Each Peach Pear Plum, even though I must have read it to my daughter 100s of times. Props for having a stunt cake!

Ever since I've been a dad, any time I've got to the top of a climb to see a view, these words from The Snail and the Whale come to mind:

I can still recite it from memory. Twenty years later. Used to "read" it in the dark to the kids to get them to sleep.
