Are the ten speed XT rear mechs all shadow + or are there shadow (no +) mechs too?
I've googled to try and find the difference and all the 10 speeds seem to be shadow plus whereas the 9 speeds were shadow (no +).
Correct?
Does the plus mean with a clutch?

Why are 10 speed RH shifters out of stock in so many places?
I need a single (not pair) shifter, 10 speed. Bar mount.
Is there a Shimano production / delivery problem?
Are SRAM and Shimano 10 speed shifters and mechs compatible?
Thanks
edit: do I need bar mount shifters? Are there others I can use?
I have BR M785 (XT) brakes. Is this enough info for you gurus to tell me if I have I spec A, B, whateverthehelltheyrecalled*?
God all these specifications make my brain hurt.
The plus does mean clutch.
10 speed in both shadow and shadow+
9 speed is shadow (and old school) with no shadow plus.
Everyman and his dog is going 1x10. I suspect demand exceeds supply.
If you buy I spec b compatible shifters, they will definitely attach to your brakes as it is backwards compatible should your brakes happen to be ispec a.
Saint shifters available in bar-mount flavour on CRC
cp. So is 10 speed shadow without a clutch?
tmb. I'm too tight to buy Saint! They have XTR too!
Cheers
10 speed shadow doesnt have clutch

Tweeks have Saint, SLX, Zee, XT and XTR right hand only shifters in stock.
as above...shadow+ is clutched and shadow is non-clutched
just remember that 10sp is NOT compatible with 7.8 or 9sp.
Saint is a bit pricier but it's also the best shifter Shimano have ever made- basically they stole all the good bits about SRAM 9-speed, bolt-action feel with Shimano quality. Mint.
<edit- though to be fair if you actually like how normal shimano shifters feel, then you might hate it. But you're weird>
My 10spd XT kit doesn't shift nearly as nice as the old 9spd XT imho/ime
I just fitted xt shadow + mech and saint shifter...all i can say is wow what a great combo..i came from a 9 spd xt rear ams xtr shifter amd the new combo bears it easily. .like hot knife thru butter
