Might find myself in Wymondham just outside Norwich for a day at some point in the future and wondered if there was any gravel routes around there that might take in some scenery and maybe a pub lunch etc? Or it looks like I might be able to hop on a train to Thetford (maybe?) but no idea what its like there??

Alternatively any non-bike related stuff to do around Norwich would be great (unfortunately spending the day in the local spoons isn't an option as I'd need to drive home at the end of the day).

Not much to do around Wymondham sadly - if you're on a gravel bike then Thetford could worth a trip (don't really need anything more than that). It's flat and pretty much constant pedalling, but running pretty fast at the moment with the dry weather. Do the blue, then the red. Not really that grading though!

If you're heading into Norwich check out the market for food - lots of options, and have a snoop around the laneways. Some nice little coffee places there.

Theres some gravel to go at around Grimes Graves plus a decent cafe in the arboretum too.

Not quite Wymondam, but if you can get yourself into Norwich to start I've done some great loops from Norwich that take in the Bure Valley Railway Path, Weavers Way and Marriots Way. Really nice, and pass through excellent villages for pub lunches

If you are into cars, Lotus have their head quarters just a stones throw away. See if they’re doing any factory tours or Classic Team Lotus tours.

You get to see and walk the assembly line up close for how the hand made cars are built and then a great tour of old classic F1 cars and the old workshops they used to build the F1 cars in.

They also used to do experience days don’t know if they still do … they have their own test race track by the factory and you get to drive round in a Lotus with an instructor.

Cheers all. Might leave the bike at home - the Lotus thing sounds like a good option potentially.
