I'm thinking about getting a new frame... A Transition covert.
Everything will go over form my current bike pretty much. BUT... I have 150mm forks.
Would it be ok to run the forks I have with the right headset while I save up for some new ones or will teh bike just be rubbish?
thanks.
Warranty would be fine - check here:

Ok so it wouldn't be too bad for the couple of months it'll take me to save up for some forks. thanks.

Oh, so many times I've said that..so many ruined finances later... ๐
Your forks should be fine, may just be a little tall on the climbs.
Tall? It's designed for 160mm forks.

Oh is it? I read 'Covert' but thought 'Trans-am'.
I assumed the problem was the other way around(without being bothered to look). It'll be a little short then... ๐
It will be fine mate don't worry about it.
thanks guys... It'll only be a couple of months between getting the frame and the forks...

I've double, double checked... the right headset and it should all be ok.
