I have never really had an issue with my minis. They work fine in the wet, don't make too much noise and generally act like a brake is supposed to. However this morning on a snowy ride to work it seems that my once faithful brakes had been replaced by squealing pigs and were not too keen to stop me when I wanted them to!
Anyone else suffer from this reaction to a bit of snow?

Cold and wet? reduces efficincy and below a certain point all you get is squeeling as a water film forms on the disc.
Are your discs undrilled / not very drilled?

They are the standard Hope Mini rotors that have never given me problems before. Maybe too much cold and too much wet is causing them grief.
