Looking to take my brother in law along to Coed Llandegla Forest for his first taste of MTBing...thing is neither of us drive and will have to hire a bike for him for the day, so is there anyway of getting a train to there so we won't have to walk far?? Cheers!

I would guess.... Train to Wrexham and I think there is a bus. I'm guessing genesis or someone else from Oneplanet will be on to give you better info.

seeing as ypou live in Glossop, best to go from Manchester, to chester general, then change for a Wrexham train, from Wrexham, GHA, run a bus from the bus station King St to Rhyl, and it passes LLandegla, they dont carry bikes though, just hiere 2 bikes at LLandegla easier.

Thanks for the advice guys but looks like we are going to Delamere instead! Teetosugars - I may take you up on that offer for myself at some point though!

Delamere has a station right in the middle of the forest.
