Just popped up the road today and discovered a whole new mini trail centre on my doorstep, well still being constructed, but can't wait!
Which full facer for Whitelee?
Well it's no Cathkin, but built by the same folk, apparently.
It'll be wide, smooth and entirely man made. What chances have we of getting builders in that use natural features in their trails? Look at some of the rock features at BPW for example.
They did a very good job with Cathkin so although it might not have many ups or downs I suspect it'll be fun. Apparently there'll also be a pump track and a wee skills zone so could be perfect for my two young boys!

I had a look at the plans, there is less than 2 miles all together, and it's down in the borrow pit, which is a bog most of the year. As you say, it'll probably be ideal for taking your kids, as they can ride around and you'll be able to see them from the side.
Seems like a box ticking exercise for the wind farm to get some community PR.
