Nope. When you see them just after you've taken them out of the packaging will be the only time they will be white. Mine are a kind of toffee colour now.

Try using Colgate Extra Whitening and an electric toothbrush, they come out lovely every time. Don't forget to use the mouthwash afterwards, it gives you another 12 hours of protection.

do white grips really look good enough to justify the extra hassle of cleaning them every ride? For me its a no, how many times have you scrubbed your black grips clean? I'm guessing none, there's enough to keep clean and lubed on a bike in our climate without adding extra chores just for aesthetics, also white grips stay clean for about as long as your not riding and then instantly look rubbish again. No need. If you absolutely must then i'm sure muc off will do the job along with a toothbrush.

I never clean my white grips, the ones are the commuter are still white as. The other set have been used in some pretty awful conditions and are still pretty white considering they've never been cleaned.

make sure you clean your gloves regularly too, only so much of the dirt comes direct from the trail, the rest is transfer after you've been mauling other bits with your mitts 😉

White is pimp - and so's a sort of beige colour too. Don't fret it.

I've got SS white-but-now-beige on one bike but am trying ESI grips on another and I have to say, I'm impressed both with the feel / comfort and the cleanupability.
