Am after a new Shimano XT 11 speed Shifter but have no idea whether I want a "Bar Mount", I Spec B or I Spec II
Any ideas as to how they differ?
Am running XT brakes (M8000) that are about 1 year old. But tend to inboard the shifter a little so I don't knock it with my thumb
Cheers

I Spec II is an easy fit with those brakes.
Bar mount will work and give more flexibility of placement but also more clutter.

M8000 brake levers are I spec 2 if you want to mount the shifter to the brake, bar mount is like a traditional shifter on its own clamp.
