Yes, that bad. It's exposed peat moor. Ride it in high summer when it's baked solid, or deep midwinter when it's frozen

Just had a fun hour on the Tripster around the lanes here, got back, showered, put some fish fingers* in the oven and looked out the window to see the road covered in snow. How's that for timing! Lee Quarry Sunday I think - riding the M&S trolley tomorrow, followed by the 'xmas decs out of loft and into front room' bonanza. ๐Ÿ˜‰

*dinner of champions

All my mates are at Cwmcarn tomorrow so no DHing for me. I'll probably go on a pretty boring XC ride with the club and then maybe blast over to kinver and have a quick go at some fun stuff.

nah, I think I'll do both and hopefully by the time I get back my new wheels will have arrived which I can sort out and then setup tubeless ๐Ÿ˜€

I'll just make a decision on the 9:30 or 9:15 depending on where they're going.

I'll go to Kinver and ride some proper DH with the full face on sunday

I just got back from riding to the butchers and back on my Kona Sutra.
Not the local butchers mind, one just over 20 miles away - it's a long way for a pork pie, dozen rashers of bacon and 8 tomato sausages. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Currently psyching myself up for a blast across the South Downs on the Brown Monkey, don't mind the rain it's the 22 mph wind that does me in....

I did pretty much the same as yesterday's ride, but 'luckily' all the snow had been chased away by the relentless driving wind and rain, it was a miserable ride.
