I've got a triple crankset and I need a 32t front chainring to fit in the middle chainring position (not the outer).

I don't know if that's the standard fitment or if they normally fit the outer?

Could somebody point me at a suitable chainring...

what crankset have you got? If standard shimano type you'll need a chainring that has 104mm BCD.

You can get them from Shimano, Hope, Straitline, E-thirteen etc loads of choice.

Middle is the standard position, but the tabs are the same for most (all?) chainsets so if it fits the middle it'll almost certainly fit the other and vice versa.

Works Components get my vote for chainring- the thick/thin profile is 100% worthwhile, and the price is good. Raceface and others make them too though I've only tried Works.

Cool. Yeah, it's a shimano crank. If middle is standard that's fine.

Thanks.

Good to see Goldtec getting in on the act too..

I have a Works version and its been awesome so far.

Easily available fromt he UK:

Works Components
Raceface
Goldtec

Thoughts - Goldtec one looks naff and more expensive than both but will be well made, RF one available in pretty colours, looks good. Works one is cheapest and looks good but a weeks wait for one... take your choice!

Currently running a Hope 34T on the middle of an XT triple, works fine for me.

After having a chain guide for months, I took it off, fitted a clutch RM and didn't get a chain drop on a reasonable test ride.

I use an on-one unramped stainless chainring

http://on-one.co.uk/i/q/CROOSS/on_one_stainless_chainring

No fancy tooth profile etc so chainguard advised.

I got an on-one chainring too and it's about to be replaced as it's so noisy.
