Was out trying a friends 650b XC bike on the trails at Penrose Estate yesterday and found myself thinking: "Wouldn't a fatbike be great here.." for the first time. I recommend any fatbikers in the surrounding area to check out the trails at Penrose, there's twisty wooded singletrack, exposed beach crossings, coastal singletrack on the cliff-tops and flat-out bridleway descents. Hope this helps.
