just got a posh rack for the bike but now want one for my wakeboard...any ideas the thule answer is pads and straps...i want something more secure tbh...sorry wrong forum
have a google for Thule ski rack and see if the dimensions will work with a wakeboard.
Pads and straps will be fine, you can always feed the straps through the bindings if you're worried about the board slipping back and forth.
I used old wakeboard rack from the boat attached to roof bars. Board sat in the rack, the straps were knackered so just used a bungy to hold board in place, never fell out - figured if it stayed put on the boat bouncing around, then a car would be much smoother...
