Not taking it away from Danny, his ride was unbelivable, and in past years should win this hands down.
But....... a certain rider from the Isle of Man won the points jersey at Le Tour.
An excellent performance by Cav. And I guess he could be nominated for his WC ride too, maybe even more impressive given the lack of lead out. But British Cycling have summed up why Danny's ride was so good...
with a ride of such skill and flair that it almost defied description.
He made it look easy on a day when the best in the world struggled to even stay on their bikes going seconds slower.
I think Cav's had the better season (by far), but if you want to nominate a single race, then Danny Hart's was nothing short of sensational, far superior to any of the other nominations.
