So, my local rides generally consist of grass, mud, hardpack, gravel, roots, some non-pointy rocks, very worn, steep pave, road, steps etc.

What relatively fast rolling tyres for all of the above?

Erm this IS a mountain biking forum isn't is? Therefore, I think it would be safe to assume that the tyres would be for a mountain bike, unusual concept I know ๐Ÿ™„

More specific you say? Ok, it's for a Rocky Mountain hardtail (size - L), based in West Sussex, I'm 37 years of age, waist 32, weight approx. 72kg, the bike has wheels, handlebars, disc brakes etc, oh... and I will use the tyres for fitting to the wheels and cycling, preferably forwards, and occasionally sideways, sometimes along the flat, sometimes down hills, and sometimes up hills too.

Try to get some all-rounders for that.
