Does anyone know if I can send a trail map from View ranger to my element bolt then use it to navigate the t

I think you'd need to export a ViewRanger route as a GPX file, then upload it to Komoot - or the other compatible app - at which point, if you've set it up, it'll synch with your Element Bolt when you power it up as long as it's connected to your home network.
It should then, in theory, give you turn-by-turn navigation on tracks which are shown on Open Street Map - my experience is that most bridleways and green lanes are covered fwiw.
If you're asking whether you can upload ViewRnanger Ordnance Survey mapping to a Bolt, the answer is no, you're stuck with the Open Street Map mapping that's included as a default. If you want the Viewranger mapping on your handlebars you'll need a bar mount for your phone and, preferably, a decent protective case.
If you're a Mac user you can use Android File Transfer to drag and drop routes into the Bolt.
Warning this will not work with the next OS upgrade (Catalina) unless the app is re-written.
