I'm thinking about doing the same to my scalpel. 4 inch front and rear suspension - that has to be the way forward for gnarmac.

It now looks a little different with a shorter front end and a bit of layback.

Looks more sorted with a shorter stem. Is it real Goldinium?

Bike originally received for my 14 the or 15th birthday. Now lives as a tourer and after a the death of my commuter it is now the commuter too.

Very heavy but rides wonderfully when fully loaded. I not a looker though.

Too short
Mudguards
2 racks
Saddle bag
Water bottles
Narrow bars.
7 speed.

Ooh, how did I miss this thread first time around?! It's a thread I can actually post my bike on!

Rigid steel hardtail, 26" wheels (QR), 3x9 drivetrain (Octalink no less), straight headtube, 27.2 seatpost, silver finishing kit, bar ends and a mudguard; it's lovely.

The ride is rubbish compared to modern bikes and it'll try to kill you if you ride off a steep drop in but somehow...
