I am in for solo Mayhem this June. Can anybody recommend a cost effective bib short. I will probably buy 2 or 3 pairs to see me through the race. I am obviously looking for a full and gentle caress of my delicate parts over a sustained period.

Option. Is there a pair out there that will see me through the whole race with minimal chafing and no subsequent k**b rot? I would pay more for these!

dhb ones are good as are decathlon (although the sizing can be funny on the latter)

but as woody says chamois cream is the way to a healthy undercarridge

i wore 1 pair of continental bibs till about 5am last year using vaseline as chamois cream before changing to club kit for the dying laps ! ... but there is no one pair of shorts fits all , what one person on here recommends doesnt work for all .. i find that because i am skinny shit i get away with euro designed stuff and that uk designed stuff is like a tent on me !
