Sorry guys, need some advice.

Having tyre issues at the minute, not entirely sure what to pop on the bike.
They'll be going on my full bounce (Mojo SL, so light[ish] would be nice) but i also quite like running larger tyres.
I'm running Maxxis High Roller's (2.35" with the 60a compound) and i just find them a bit nothing at the moment when its like this (no deep mud, but slippy). They're not very confidence inspiring.

I've had a look about, but still no ideas, can't very well just demo a Tyre ๐Ÿ˜›

Whats your opinions?

Ta

If you find 60a High Rollers slippy, then you've got 2 options the way I see it...

1. Lower your tyre pressures as they're probably too hard right now.
2. If lowering the pressure doesn't work, then buy 42a super tacky high rollers.

You could also explore going tubeless to help with point number 1 if you're worried about pinch flats.

interesting, not too keen on going tubeless tbh, doesn't seem quite right in my mind.

only find them slippy when i get onto rocky bits, great everywhere else and i do love them

considered nobby nics or mountain kings....>?

lol, comedian in the house

A/ most things are pretty slippy when it gets rocky
B. changing to those, especially mountain kings, will not only not help you but probably kill you at the same time

Would stay clear of mountain kings from personal experience they seem to be very firm then just let go all of a sudden (especially in the corners).

Cross marks at 2.1 do me fine on all but the muddiest stuff. Have Advantage 2.4 but seem to drag a bit.
