My 5 and 3 year old are both very tall for their ages and are now far too cramped in our Croozer trailer so we are looking at other options with more room for them.

I really like the look of the Weehoo igo 2 but at 117cm and 103cm tall respectively I think they are going to be on the limit of comfort and capacity..... Although I'd love to be told differently as they do look like the best option.

So I'm after any advice on larger trailers with more room inside, other tow along options (no tag along bikes.... They get tired over long distances and the little one has a tendency to throw himself off) or some kind of cargo bike?

Any suggestions great fully received

Cheers

Big dummy with kid coral :D. With the appropriate bits on it you can drag their bikes behind (one wheel on the ground) while they rest on the back of the dummy.

Circe Helios? https://www.circecycles.com/products/helios/

You could have the older child as stoker and the younger child in the trailer.

p.s. the Weehoo is good but I've only ever used the single child version. Keeping it balanced takes some getting used to.

5 years old - get them on tag along and/or their own wheels.

3 year old on weeride.

They get tired over long distances

Adjust your riding as a family for a few years.

Longboard style cargo bikes (ie space for two on the back) without motors you are basically looking at Kona Yute/Surly big fat dummy/Yuba Mundo or Kombi - any of those getting on for, or over, £2k new inc accessories. Or an Xtracycle conversion.

If you have quite a lot more cash for an E Bike then Tern GSD or E-bike version of one of the above. Or there is this ( https://radpowerbikes.eu/products/radwagon-electric-cargo-bike ) which is cheap but I think counts as a motorbike under current UK law and therefore may need to be registered with DVLA and kids wearing moped rated helmets as pillion passengers. Law seems to be a bit of a mess on these.

Longtail cargo bike is a winner, but they're not protected from the elements. I've got 3 kids, when I had 2 I used a double trailer, but since getting older a long tail cargo bike is much easier, it's big enough for an adult

I had my daughter in front (using a weeride) and my two older kids on the back of my big dummy 2 nights ago. Only for a short stint, it's heavy! Also works well for bagging and dragging their bikes when they get tired of cycling
