Got back into biking this summer, although like most of us juggling work and family commitments have meant I maybe haven't got out as much in the summer as I'd have liked so hoping to get out more over the autumn and winter as work is quieter for me.
Problem is most the chances I'll get now will either be early at a weekend or mostly week days in the evenings when it's starting to get dark. So guessing my best chance of keeping up the biking would be to purchase some good lights?
Looked at a guide in this months WMB mag and they are quite expensive. The Magicshine mk - 906 se good value for money at £120. I was hoping to spend more around £100 tops. So are there any other recommendations? Or anyone upgraded and have a good light they'd want to sell? Any other advice welcome and appreciated.
Most the riding will be off road of course on tracks and mainly chicksands or Woburn woods. So prob quite dark anytime after 5pm!
Cheers.
You're not going to go wrong with one of these.

Good lights, good back-up.
When you can afford it, buy a smaller light for your helmet too. It always helps.
Nice one, that looks like the kinda thing I'm after!
I read about a helpmeet one helping, for now o got a lenzyne set (pretty much a commuter light) but it's not bad. Just didn't light up the trails too well. So planning on using that on my head to start with as it's got a helmet mount! I'll see how I get on from there!
Cheers for the help
