As title, the ranger on paper seems to tick a lot of boxes, the bike has to be fun to ride and I need to be able to throw it downhill with a big grin on my face. Any other suggestions welcome, hardtails only.
do it - you won't regret it - Tam and Burf are top notch to work with and nothing is to much trouble
had my ranger 3 weeks now and loving it - the bouncy bike hasn't seen the light of day
I bought a Stanton Switchback mk2, as it was close in terms of geometry, running with 130mm forks and a -1 degree angleset. It's been excellent so far, that said if I could have justified the extra expense I'd have had a Ranger in a heartbeat.
As above, the BTR guys are great, passionate folk and the attention to detail on the frames seen close up is second to none.
