Need some new knee pads (Lost my old pair somehow!). So, what's the pad du choix for those of us blessed with hefty old legs, then?

I have some POC VPD elbow pads that I rather like, as they're light and flexy. Should I just get matching, or is there something better out there?

Only ones I've tried are Race Face dig, XL and fit me fine. I have big thighs!

Chunky, it's like a jungle sometimes.... ๐Ÿ˜‰

Ads, thanks, will look at those. Ideally after open backed as well, as would like to be able to get 'em on and off on without taking shoes off.

If you have POC elbows then surely the style police will have you if you don't match your knees? ๐Ÿ˜€

I have Troy Lee Knee/Shin KG5450 and love them. No Velcro straps just a Lycra sock so very comfy. Much better than the Kyle Straits they replaced which I personally couldn't get on with.

TBH mine are not the easiest to get and off with shoes on. Comfy though.

I have the POC elbows and they are lovely. I got rid of the knees because they rubbed. I am of the large thigh and get on with Fox launch pads better. Cheaper than POC too although I do get vicious stares from the MTB fashion police.
