Big high 5 to Dez for pulling this all together, and congrats to all those lucky winners 😀

Sorry, I shoulda recorded it... I didn't realise people would be interested in the "non live" version!
Was a bit of a panic in the end cos the star of the show had been on a school trip so we were running late.

Oh shame I missed it! Well done Dez!

It appears I won the sweeties 😀 Rather than deplete the coppers I would like to donate them to little Dez for all the hard work 8)

Could somebody email me the details of those lucky souls who won the SS kit and the CD so I could pack them and post quickly, please?

Looks like I won the single speed kit and I don't want to appear ungrateful or anything but......well I may be a little kinky but I'm certainly not an all out pervert so single speed doesn't really appeal.

I would like Hairychested to be forced to use the kit for the whole summer so he can think about why it was wrong to buy it in the first place.

Nice to see the draw was such a sucess and raised a serious amount of money, who'd have thought it just started from a few bits. Dez, have you ever fed a large crowd with only a few fish and a couple of loaves 🙂

In answer to hairychested and the others who wanna know where to send your stuff, I'm awaiting emails from those who have won (hopefully they will check the forum this morning! (page 6, if you're looking for the results)), but I'll email the winners today for address details and forward them on.

[edit] Missed rubber_buccaneer's post - I have a few people who were interested in stuff they didn't win, so if you want to donate your prize to someone else just let me know 🙂

Ps. Just checked £491 was raised!

Yikes! A Metallica CD. I'll donate another £5 for you not to send it to me. If it can be used as a prize/threat/ebay sale to raise more money for your cause then all to the good.

While many threads on here can degenerate into petty arguments, or slanging matches, this has really shown STW's true colours. Well done Dez et al.

Edit: You can add £5 to the total now.

Right, I know everyone is probably sick of the sight of this thread, but..
ONE OF THE TOP PRIZES IS STILL AVAILABLE!

This is the guiding in Tenerife. (excludes flights and accomm. - but is guided riding for 5 days, for free. Prize worth over 200Euros)

I still have the box of tickets and am proposing to just draw another name and they shall win the prize.

I guess if you can't use this prize it would be useful to receive an email to STWRaffle@gmail.com to tell me this.

If you want to get more of a chance of winning, donate again and I'll chuck more tickets in for you. (winner could be someone who has already won something (except Jimmy 😉 )

Going to do the draw on Wednesday evening. Live on the web? If people want it!

I neeeeeed REPLIES!

You can count me out of the draw for that one Dez, it's a fantastic offer but I won't get the chance to use it. Same goes for bunnyhop

Blimey, can't believe that there are so many people out there that either can't face getting on a plane or don't fancy their chances of getting a pass from the "other arf" for a weeks riding somewhere warm.

So for the non-aviophobic out there, before you count yourself out of the raffle, just run the idea of hitting the beaches and a little shopping by them and see how it sweetens the deal 😆

No use by date on the voucher and flight prices aren't that bad if you book at the right time (seen them for as little as 29 quid each way plus taxes and baggage recently). Remember that our high season is everywhere else's low season (or ski season).

Good luck tomorrow for those staying in the draw!

Well, as Mrs NBT rides too and we regularly fly for skiing holidays, that's not why - its the fact that we're saving for skiing trips. I can ride from my front door, but there aren't any ski lifts in the peak district. Although there was a rope tow in Hayfield last winter, Nick Craig was the "liftie" when we went out to play there for a couple of hours. Anyway, what I'm sayign is while I'd *LOVE* to win the guiding, it's more about the cash as I'd have to pay for two of us to go out and pay for guiding for the non-winner too 🙂

+1 - single income family at the mo and, as i'm not the 'earner' (as my little business grows..) I'd feel a touch odd suggesting I sod off for the week - money would be best spent taking us both somewhere / invested in the business.
