we're not buying to win prizes, we're donating to charity, prizes (if any) are a bonus

I reckon I shall go for Wednesday 15th. Early evening.
Hoping all the entrants will be able to connect to the web for a live webcam of the draw. Exciting huh?! 😉

wed 15th is good for me. So is carlos' idea of drawing one ticket for a prize, then a ticket to see who's won it.

lemme know if you need to test streaming video. are you going to have live chat so we can all scream "FIX!!!!!" when you win the bmx ? 🙂

15th Good here too.

The M&M's are PEANUT BUTTER not the regular ones. Much nicer than the regular ones and not available in the UK

I think freecaster have arranged the live feed, so be assured we won't miss the [s]fix[/s] [s]stitch up[/s] draw.

I think freecaster have arranged the live feed

Huh! That would presume that a magazine or other body had actually taken notice of this charity event and was promoting it...
No, I was just going to use UStream.com . Tested it the other day and it seems simple enough.

Be a bit careful about publicising this too widely. There may be an issue with Gift Aid and the raffle.

I was a joke! 🙄

seeing how shite freecaster is when more than 6 people try to get online at the same time to view an event.

Thought it might be a joke (It, not you, a joke, of course 🙂 )

Important: To any future raffle entries - Please DO NOT select Gift Aid.

thanks,
Dez

Hi Dez - If people happen to donate money to the charity and you happen to run an unrelated free of charge raffle then there is no conflict and GiftAid is fine.

Unless you can prove that the donation to charity is directly linked to the raffle ticket you should be fine.

If I make a donation but don't send you an email then I don't enter the raffle. therefor the donation and raffle are not explicitly linked.

Long winded waffle to say GiftAid should be fine and bump BTW

Hang on, too many people entering now, our chances of winning the BMX or Peanut Butter M&M's are diminishing fast!

Looks like the prize pot is growing almost as fast as the ticket sales. Should have stuck it at a fiver a ticket. Learn from the experts 😉

I don't think the first payment was successful so tried again this morning. Have emailed the receipt but if that first payment ever goes through I will be wanting even more lovely raffle tickets 🙂

Good luck with the fund raising.
