I'm looking for some of these to give a retro feel to a Kona Fire mountain I'm building for my boy (well?...??) but I can't seem to find them anywhere?

I know panaracer did a rerelease (and maybe Maxxis?) but any others that are available now?

Cheers

Tredz have some Ardent folders?

Might be worth giving them a call to check stock?

Onza do some of their tyres in a gum sidewall too.

Onza do a set, but they're normally plus sized and definitely 650b so I doubt they'll fit a Fire Mountain (if its an older one in 26). They're also crazy expensive!

When I was looking, Maxxis DTH and Halo had some but both were more dirt jumper type affairs

I bought some charge splashbacks a few years back which had tan walls and looked great (keep them away from mud though unless he's good at controlling unpredictably sliding bikes)

I have some Vee-tire Rail extreme 29ers on my hardtail. So far so good. Started to lose a bit of confidence in the front pushing hard on dusty trails. But otherwise spot on.

The Halos are an option but is prefer something with a bit more bite.

Yum.

More yum.

Maxxis are probably the best modern tread in a skinwall, though.
