Got a rockshox pike. busted the axle how do I know it's 15mm or not it's nothing written on axel or fork?

Measure the diameter with a ruler.

Old or newer Pike?
Old Pike will be 20mm newer will be 15mm.
Just in case you don't own a measuring devise.

As an aside, one of my kids asked me today how many toes I have on my left foot. Can anyone suggest a book or medical website where I could research this and get a probable figure?

Grays Anatomy. It would have to be an edition from when you were born to make sure that you get the same information as your parents had when they were thinking about you.
