Good day today, for the first time in ages we had a decent amount of bodies. Put a shout out on here for a little help and got 5 new guys who all worked their nuts off. Namecheck in older thread.
Approx 12/13 of us over the course of the day. Between us we moved some huge rocks using a scaffold bar, straps, brute force and with a little helping hand from our friends the laws of physics.
We recycled an old dry stone wall to create a trail bed and all in all created maybe 15m of trail base plus 1/2 a berm. Another good turnout next time and we will be ready for the hardcore.
Goes without saying that we also spent the day talking bikes$$t and generaly taking the piss out of each other while leaning on shovels.

To anybody interested we dig the first Sunday of each month and many hands make light work, come for a day or just a couple of hours.
