Would have missed this but for Markenduro sending me a txt earlier so got my entry in.

Will be a nice week visiting family and riding around. Sure I visited those woods about 25 years ago as well.

Any idea what the best way to travel there is, apparently its close to Shannon airport... however it always works out expensive taking bikes on planes... taking the ferry from Fishguard seems like the best option??

any other suggestions?

We're trying to squeeze 3 people and bikes into the car. It works out at about £300 for a car and 2 peeps and £320 for car and 3. Fishguard to Rosslaire.

Booked holiday and confirmed entry today......

I'll be riding down to Fishguard from sunny mid Wales. It's around 120 miles so I'll bivvy on the way. Ferry to Rosslaire (£60 return for me and bike) then riding to the event which is again around 120 miles, so will spend another night under the stars ... ooh it's like a proper holiday 😉

Wife and dog in a motorhome via Holyhead > Dublin then after the "event" head out west and tour the coast.

Cork is a good airport. Shannon isn't bad either.

Here's the email I got back when I asked about motorhome camping.

"There will be ample car camping space available so there should be no worries at all."

Is there going to be an STW camping area? Should be, seeing there'll be more of us than anybody else.
