i need a right hand shifter for my hardtail ....do they all look like this now as i have the older design.... wud i still be able to get the older model ?

New shifter doesn't have to exactly match the old one. You can use any SRAM right-hand shifter (but not Shimano ones, or SRAM Attack). If you're used to trigger, I'd stick with that rather than twist-shift.
