I'm trying to keep my Middleburn cranks in use, seems a shame to resign them to being ornaments.
Can anyone recommend a source of half-decent square taper bottom brackets?
Also trying to use a bb-mount chain guide at the mo so hoping to find e-type bb's to...

Royce or Phil woods? Expensive but are supposed to last very well.
To fit a BB mounted chainguide I dont htink you'll be able to use cups without flanges (Hope, Phil Woods, Royce)
In which case you're looking at UN54 Shimano or s/h or NOS UN72 if you can find one on eBay
EDIT: just thinking about that, Im not 100% sure Shimano cups have flanges either.
ISIS ones usually do though.

Middleburn are now the distributors of SKF BB's... so either contact middleburn direct or via ya LBS...

Thanks guys. I've ordered (the last) sq. taper UN54 for e-type from Wiggle. I may try and stock pile a couple if I can find them

Got Royce in both bikes.
TA which are nice have a locking ring, which you can buy from Dot bike as a spare part. should work with a hope or royce.
Royce also make BBs with the locking ring as well. May also be worth phoning me at Sunset tomorrow if you're looking for E-type mechs as we've got a few left, will need to know what size you need though.We're on 02920371321.
