Must have been a bit of a hassle having to prop that sign up in the bottom corner for every shot.
Place looks awesome though.

Spent many a happy time in Sospel. Lovely place, lovely people, lovely food, bit off the beaten track, great WW2 fort, great to get to. Plane to Nice, one hour train ride and Voila! Unfortunately it was in the days before I was into the biking, but as soon as I saw this thread I just thought "Yes!" Will deffo have to bag the bike up and take it over.

If this is a recce for your race, would it not give those rather second rate locals ๐Ÿ™‚ a bit of an unfair advantage?

In the 4 editions of the Trans-Provence race, a local (Vouilloz, Barel, etc) has never won! ๐Ÿ™‚

However, no this recce was for "something else" ๐Ÿ˜‰

Looks lovely Ash. Plans are afoot for us to do the great-rock course with you next year. But having looked at that course, we're now seriously considering the guided T-P. I'm not sure I"m man enough for it tho!
